Hemisphere GNSS製受信機のGPSロールオーバー対応について

GPS衛星は週番号とその週における基準時刻からの秒数を送信しています。GPS受信機はこれらの情報に基づいて受信時の日付と時刻を知ることができます。GPS衛星から送信されている時刻に関する情報のうち、週番号については2019年4月7日に番号の上限に達して0にリセットされます。週番号を表すデータが10ビットしかないためです。このことをGPSロールオーバーと呼びます。
すべてのHemisphere GNSS受信機に搭載されたファームウエアは2019年4月7日のGPSロールオーバー以降も正しい週番号に基づいて正しい日付と時刻を表示します。何の問題も無く通常通りの動作をするためお客様は何もする必要がありません。具体的には1999年以降に作成されたすべてのファームウエアはGPSロールオーバーに対応しており、2019年4月7日0時0分0秒（GPS時刻）に週番号が2047から2048に正しく移行します。

SCOPE:
On April 6th, 2019, the GPS week will reach the 1024 bit limit and reset to 0. Global Positioning System (GPS) signals provide accurate timing information, including the date. The timing information includes the ability to transmit the current week and the current number of seconds into the week. GPS receivers can then translate the date and time into a more common format; time of day, day, month, and year. The week number is represented by a 10-bit binary number. This limits the range of the week number to a value ranging from 0 to 1024.
All Hemiphere GNSS positioning and heading products’ firmware will continue to count the week in succession. On April 6th 2019 the GPS week reporting in all Hemisphere GNSS products will go from 2047 to 2048. All Hemisphere products will continue to function properly without any issue. GPS week rollovers have been accounted for and implemented in all Hemisphere GNSS firmware builds available firmware builds available from us since 1999.
